Medical Eye Exam

The Medical Eye Exam is covered by your Medical Insurance, NOT your Vision Insurance. This exam may or may not require your eyes to be dilated and additional testing is often performed.

If the Doctor schedules you back for one of the following conditions, it is considered Medical and would be billed to your Medical insurance.

  • Cataracts
  • Conjunctivitis/Pink Eye
  • Diabetes
  • Dry Eye
  • Double Vision
  • Eye Pain
  • Eye Scratch
  • Foreign Body (such as metal in the eye)
  • Glaucoma or Glaucoma Suspect
  • Headaches
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Macular Degeneration
  • Peripheral Vision Loss
  • Red Eye (from Contact Lenses or Infection)
  • Retinal Detachment
  • Stroke
  • Swollen Eye or Lids

Please call our office at (603) 225-2512 if you experience any of the following. If the office is closed, you will be directed to our answering service and the on call doctor will return your call.
